The DICE project @MFR2015

Following the successful experiences at the Light! Event and at the Wired Next Fest, the DICE project was featured also at the European Maker Fair edition in Rome (MFR15 – 16-18 October 2015).

The Maker Faire Rome is one of the biggest events worldwide about technological innovation and creativity, and is a celebration of the makers movement. This year, more than 100,000 people participated to this exciting event, and could profit of talks, performance and workshops, as well as getting introduced to the most up-to-date tendencies in technological innovation.

Vito Trianni participated at the MFR15 with two talks, telling to the large public the amazing possibilities offered by studies on swarm robotics and distributed cognition. The talks featured live demo with kilobots as well as live experiments with people playing robotic swarms right under the stage. The initiative was a great success, especially thanks to a very attentive and participatory audience.
