Evorobot* is an easy-to-use but powerful tool for running experiments on the evolution of collective behavior and communication which is based on the e-puck robotic platform. The tool, which is released in a Windows and Linux version, includes the Evorobot* program, the source files, the user manual, a tutorial, and a series of sample files for easily running pre-prepared experiments. For more details on the functionalities of the tool, see section 1 of the user manual.
The Evorobot* software is copyrighted (or "copylefted", to use the term introduced by the Free Software Foundation) under a GNU General Public License. This means that it may be used, copied, modified, or redistributed for free. However, any redistribution (of the original or modified code) should adhere to the General Public Licence terms, and copies should acknowledge both the original author and be subject to the terms of the GNU General Public License.
