SAGA at the Maker Faire Rome

SAGA will be presented at the forthcoming Maker Fair held in Rome from October 14th to 16th (http://www.makerfairerome.eu). The Maker Faier Rome European Edition, is the biggest european event of the Maker movement, and it gathers together about 700 innovative projects that push the limits of current technological trends. SAGA will be displayed within the stand of the Italian National Research Council, together with several other examples of the Italian research panorama.

At the SAGA booth, it will be possible to discover the PrecisionScout, the drone developed in the Netherlands by Avular for monitoring and inspection tasks in the industrial and agricultural domain. Additionally, the latest results of the project will be discussed and the concept explained with the support of video footage and live simulation, in interaction with the researchers involved into the project.

At the Rome Maker Faire, SAGA will evoke the huge impact that swarm robotics can have on the precision agriculture domain. The SAGA team will welcome and foster open discussions about the technological, economical and social aspects related to the application of automated and decentralised solutions to precision agriculture.
