Just back from a trip to Finland, where I participated to a very interesting workshop: ANOCOS, standing for “Anomalous Dynamics in Complex Systems: From Chaos on Nanoscales to Search in Biology”.
The workshop has brought together scientists from various disciplines working on the crossroad between random walks, non-linear dynamics and chaos. All this was accompanied by a very nice ambience, a fresh end-summer Finnish touch, wonderful panoramas and also a smoked sauna!
Of course, we had very fruitful discussions and ideas where flowing, hoping for future collaborations. Thanks to the organisers for making this possible!
